What might a more fully evolved human be like? "The urge to transcend self-consciousious selfhood is a principal appetite of the soul." -Aldous Huxley Looking at both ancient Hinduism and modern psychology, the short list of aspects of expanded consciousness are these qualities: *increased personal power *increased understanding and insight *improvement of life *accelerated learning *transcendence *liberation from ego and space time limits *attainment of "mystical union" - pure experience Or, in contemporary psychological terms: "We become larger, greater, stronger, bigger, taller people, and tend to perceive accordingly... this is another way of becoming 'godlike'... we, too, out of Universal understanding would never blame or condemn, or be disappointed or shocked. Our only possible emotions would be pity, charity, kindliness, perhaps sadness or amusement... In the peak experience, such emotions as wonder, awe, reverence, humility, surrender, and even worship before the greatness of the experience are often reported." - Dr. Abraham Maslow We know that "working" on ourselves isn't the answer...evolution of conscious could be thought of as more an opening to our true nature. Paying attention to our thoughts, which result in our behavior - and thus create our reality, is a huge key.

What was once called the "Clear Light" state, we might refer to as "Self Realization". As our consciousness matures and develops, we may find ourselves as different from where we are now, as modern human is from our early hominoid ancestors.

For the first time, we can consciously choose our evolution. For the first time, we can direct our own growth, our increased compassion, intelligence and creativity.

We have the means to "reprogram" our biocomputer...and to create the most enjoyable and fulfilling human lifestyle the world has ever known. We are learning to "find our niche", starting with our inner voyages.

What an amazing adventure: to participate in our own evolution.
