My Story

In the beginning there is Bliss. Everywhere dazzling splashes of energy Color, and sound. Life celebrating itself. Timeless. Until an awareness... Appreciation, gratitude, wonder, joy... I have these sensations. I surely exist! In this moment consciousness is born. “What...Who am I”? My story continues. I wish to see MySelf, to experience MySelf. I want to know MySelf. I wish to see MySelf in another And the simple thought creates the occurrance! Now we are two. Divided yet whole. One yet seperate. So it occurs endless times and varieties of places... from the single celled amoeba to the flaming star. With each shape I am born with one burning desire. "I want to know MySelf". My story is the only story. I take a form..a single cell of dense matter. I/We wish to know Ourself And from the single particle another is born. a moment later a cosmic bang... And we dance across the newly formed heavens We who are One and yet separate entities all It's a whirling spinning life dance! I am planets, stars, moons... I become a planet and I play within it...I want to know MySelf. Mine is the only story, (although You will hear my story in many versions And disguises...) We are wild, chaotic. I dance in the air and the water I sing in the wind and I howl in the storms. And by my thought I create new life. To know MySelf. And I was -- and am -- and will be. I experience MySelf in single celled life, and plant forms, and trees, Bacteria and sea creatures and lizards big and small. And I fly upon wings and I rustle in breezes Which are my own sweet sighing. I eat and am eaten, I drink and am swallowed I live and die and begin anew. I learn about MySelf with each form I experience Each form is precious, as I learn and grow Children of a long lineage of play and change How I love this game of hide and seek with MySelf! How clearly can I see MySelf in matter? Today I see this world through your eyes, So that I may experience MySelf through your unique perspective. I look upon MySelf as Inner and Outer Universe And I am Delighted... To know MySelf.
